Doctor Strangelove: When Melody Thomas Scott first read in her script that her alter ego, Nikki, found her gynecologist, Dr. Joshua Landers (Heath Kizzier) attractive, the actress figured a relationship was inevitable.  And she was right, natch, though she wasn't 100 percent comfy with the idea.  "I kept begging [the producers]," Thomas Scott laughs, "please make him anything but a gynecologist.  Please!  I always thought it was a little gross that she was dating and falling in love with her gynecologist.  All that talk about cysts is hardly romantic.  Nikki had an ovarian cyst and we discussed it in major detail.  We went on and on and on.  I said, 'Can't he be any other kind of doctor?  Like a podiatrist?' "
