Daytime TV - May 1981

Eric Braeden shares a Hollywood hideaway with his wife Dale and their 11-year-old son Christian. Eric takes fatherhood seriously and spends a great deal of time teaching Christian the kind of manners that spoiled, rich Hollywood kids aren't famous for. For instance, take the old-fashioned art of handshaking. Eric says, "I tell Christian that he must look the person he's shaking hands with straight in the eye, or else it's impolite." And sports is the key to family togetherness. Eric, who went to Montana State University on a track scholarship, still keeps up with soccer, boxing and running. Now he often uses Dale as a sparring partner. "But our only fights are in the ring!"
