Day 7
I was up by 10am and had a while before having to get ready for the wedding so I went downstairs to hit the multi line machines again and get some more action in here at Caesars. Things here were just bad. I wasn’t getting any dealt hands and anything more than 3 of a kind was rare. I did manage to pull a few quads but they were too late. I dropped $300 at one machine and moved to another. Things here were just as bad if not worse and I dropped another $100 in a little more than an hour.
After my ass kicking I took a short break and wandered around. I also played a few penny slots for fun. Lost about $10 doing this but had a good time and a $10 loss with entertainment value is cool with me.
Next up I tried some $1 video poker. I found an 8/5-bonus machine and took a shot at that. They also had 9/6 jacks on this machine but I like the chance of hitting aces or bonus quads. I was doing well at first getting trips, flushes and full houses. I hit one regular quad and a bonus quad to keep my playing for quite a while. Things were pretty steady here and not streaky like the 5 play games have been. I kept plugging along and then was dealt king, queen, ten of diamonds. I filled the other 2 cards in for a royal, $4000, and a dreaded W2G.
Once I was paid off I played a little more and then took a shot with some $2 action. I don’t really like going to this level but I figured with the luck I’ve been having this trip I’d take a shot. I had no luck here and dropped a few hundred with little play. It was now time to call it quits for the day and get ready for Anne and Steve’s wedding.
Rich and Dawn were going to swing by and pick me up and then we were going to be off to the wedding. The wedding was at a place called Rainbow Gardens on Charleston and it was to begin at 5:30pm.
When the wedding reception ended the 3 of us went downtown to Main Street Station to see the crew down there. We played a little VP at the Boar Bar for about 2 hours. I cashed out even after being up $20 so it was a good session since we weren’t really there to play tonight.
I got back to Caesars at about 1am and hopped into the Jacuzzi because it’s there!
