Little Harwood Hole
The entrance pitch to Little Harwood Hole. This is about a 60m pitch from memory. The bottom half of the pitch is on the rock as you can see, but the top half is spectacularly free hanging. |
The cave soon turns into an entertaining horizontal passage. It is an intermittent
watercourse, and contains some areas of gour pools on the passage floor. Notice the nice red/yellow glow produced by caving with carbide lamps. |
