After the long winter we are all eager to see the first signs of SPRING and feel the warm sun upon our face.

As the snow is melting Grape Hyacinths, Tulips and Daffodils are poking their heads through the ground. Mountain streams are full with the spring run off.

And Mom is searching for where the summer clothes are stored.

Tiny green buds turn the trees green, Pussy Willows glistening silver in the sun. Soon blossoms will be bursting forth on the fruit trees. And the hillside will be covered with soft spring color.

And we are praying a late frost will not kill the buds on the fruit trees.

The neighborhood will become alive again. with the sounds of spring. Birds singing, children playing games and riding bikes. Neighbors visiting, washing their cars and working in the yard.

And Mother is in the house cleaning closets and boxing winter clothes.

The pasture grasses are sprouting and wild flowers provide a soft bed for the new born calf. Baby colts are stretching their wobbly legs.

In the Spring as the earth is renewing its self. A time for us to look at our life and renew the covenants we have made to ourselves and to our God.
