Jay's Bedtime Stories

Remember these late night treats? Jay would recite a few lines from a song, and then the listeners would call in and guess which song it was, and who sang it. I remember his very first bedtime story: Chuck Berry's "No Particular Place to Go." Other songs he's used for his bedtime story include:

The Buckinghams' "Hey, Baby, They're Playin' Our Song"

I think he did Don and Juan's "What Your Name?", but I can't quite remember

R.B. Greaves' "Take a Letter, Maria"

Tom Jones' "She's a Lady" (he did this one two diff times, but he used different parts of the song each time)

The Lovin' Spoonful's "Daydream"

Major Lance's "Mmm-Mmm-Mmm-Mmm-Mmm-Mmm (Walking Through the Park)"

Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes' "If You Don't Know Me By Now"

The Reflections' "Just Like Romeo and Juliet"

The Righteous Brothers' "Ebb Tide"

Johnny Rivers' "Seventh Son"

Zager and Evans' "In the Year 2525"
