Maurice was our pick to keep here at Esprit from this nice litter of 10 by Zoe and Davis.
A leap off the back of the couch resulted in surgery to correct a growth plate injury to his left front leg.
A 1" space was added to the ulnar bone below the elbow to compensate for the difference.
He was in a cast and was in a crate or on a leash (even in the house) until Christmas time - 6 months of healing!

Maurice lived a life of fun and frolic with Gary & Merilyn until he went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2014.
For the last several years he was joined by his cousin, Esprit's Mystique (Misty).
Such a handsome and gentle soul. Mo, we miss you! XO
