Comments:

On this new and long awaited album, Moi Caprice manage, , after a 12 years break, to both sound as we remember them, but also as a group that has developed a bigger and a somewhat more international sound. Lead singer Michael Møller's time in the group The Mountains has soundly left its mark on many of the songs on "Becoming Visible".

Most of the songs are both melodic and melancholy and the light and very catchy approach is less pronounced than on the four previous albums. These all contained obvious radio hits such as "Artboy Meets Artgirl", "The Town and the City", "Drama Queen", "To the Lighthouse", "The Devil Travels Fast" just to mention a few. There are only few in this category on "Becoming Visible". Very close is the upbeat "Teenagers", which sounds pretty much like the "old" Moi Caprice. ”Exit Strategy” is also very catchy, with a great chorus.

There is an overall uniform and nicely subdued atmosphere on the album, and it may take some time to remember the individual numbers apart - with the two mentioned as obvious exceptions.
