SHORT BIOGRAPHY:

Drake was an Englis singer and songwriter born in Rangoon, Burma in 1948. He died in November 1974 from an overdose of medication.

Drake released three albums for Island Records during 1969-72. Depression stopped his his career and by the time of his death his mental condition had been deteriorating for years.

Drake's reputation as a songwriter has been steadily growing and he may be one of the most influential songwriters to come out of Britain during the 1960-1970's
