We all produce garbage, but what some of us don`t know is that you can recycle some of it or compost some of it. It is your municipality`s responsibility to pick up the garbage from in front of your house as per the appropriate collection schedule.

Garbage is collected once a week, while recycling is picked up on an alternating week schedule (black box one week, blue box the next week). Leaf and yard waste is collected every two weeks from spring to early autumn, and once a week in late autumn. All material must be at the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening prior to your collection day and no later than 7 a.m. on your collection day.
