What did He do?

Jesus died on a cross and ressurrected from the dead to
pay for our sins and to buy a place for us in Heaven.

"All of us were like sheep that were lost, each of us
going his own way. But the Lord made the punishment
fall on Him (Jesus), the punishment all of us deserved."
Isaiah 53: 6

God cannot accept our sins, but because of His love
for us, He made our sins fall on his own Son. Christ
carried our sins on his own body on the cross.
