I haven't had much chance to check my home e-mail - I've been so busy with everything that needs looking after here!

Plus all the scientists have gone off to their divisional scientists' meeting (held once every 2 yrs) leaving only 5 of us in the lab, and I'm the only admin person so have to be at work early to open up.

I spoke to Jerry today, hadn't heard from him for quite a few days and was getting a touch worried. Though I knew he would have tried more than once while the kids were on the internet. I wanted to get a second line a while ago, and Jerry said we didn't need it. I don't agree and might just get one while he's away! Either that, or I'll have to get myself a mobile phone.

At the moment I'm trying to track down my boss, who's at the div. sci. meeting, because her mum just rang me with a panic/drama with one of her dogs (that are her whole life!) But the div.sci.meeting is is being held in a quiet, remote location where mobile phones don't work. They figure they get more "flowing discussion" going that way - no distractions. So I'll go back to our server at work now and see if I can get some more info. Oh what a wonderful technological world, where I can log onto a computer (or many computers!) at work, from the comfort of my home, to get the info I need :-) A good case for working from home I reckon - maybe they could divert the phones to here??!!
