MOTOR CONTROLSRamson offers thyristor controlled DC Drives based on latest Technology for DC Motors. Ranging from 1/8 HP to 5 HP thyristor controlled DC Drives in single phase half controlled and 2 HP to 100 HP thyristor controlled DC Drives in 3 phase full wave fully controlled mode. These Thyristor controlled DC Drives are provided with standard protection such as Armature fuses, Field Fuses, Current limit, Thermal Overload, Field Failure and Semi conductor Fuses for SCR's and RC surge suppressions for SCR's and Diodes.
The
Thyristor controlled DC drive operations are constant speed, constant torque
and constant HP. Hunting free running is guaranteed ffrom zero to full
speed and also the spped variation is maintained with (+) or( -) 1 rpm
through an improved IR compensation circuitary and proper voltage feedback.
It has control provisions for speed settings, acceleration and deceleration
controls. Feedback from the DC Motor is either through armature feedback
or using a Tachogenerator.
