THE NEEDLES

The Needles was formed at the end of the 80's by Suho Healer, Henry Pump, Seco de Loco and Cesar Legba (from top left counter clockwise). Also later joined by Andy McCoy to do charity gigs. But as we all know, in rock'n'roll biz things don't always go as they were planned. The Needles fell into the trap of hard drugs. In the days of confusion The Needles stole everything possible to get their own and to get stoned as hell...

The end of era was a gig at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium to do charity for the hospital of children with cancer. All the money disappeared. There were strong accusations that The Needles took the cash but it was never proven. Andy McCoy, the lead guitarist of the band couldn't do drugs as hard as the others and was therefore kicked out of band. There were rumors about the 30 grand that was stolen from him by the band but there were no one to confess so Andy left crying to L.A. to play with some other guys.

Other members of The Needles ended their drug abuse and formed new bands Jimsonweed, Spiha and CLB. One for all, all for me...
