I have put one small photo from each day here, but if you want to see more you shall check the photo page.

La Paz is very high

A blockad changed the plans
Because a road blockad made of furious coca farmers we had to take a flight to Cusco, Peru to continue our trip with partly new traval schedules. We had time to make a city tour in the former Inca capital wit the sun temple, cathedral and Saqsaywaman.

We used the day for shopping in Cusco, some things for our walk and some souvenires. We also visited the Inca museum and there I run into a working mate from Sweden!!!

Start of the trekk
Then it was time to start our 4-days trekk toward Machupicchu. The first day was quite easy walking with nice nature and some Inca ruins around us.

Over a pass of 4200
The walk of the second day was the toughest, that really tested our physical status, with a pass of 4200 that was to be defeated from 3000 where we had our first night camp. It was hard, very hard!

Some fantastic ruins
The third day was the most beautiful on the trekk with many interesting Inca ruins and fantastic and alternating nature.

Boat trip on the Titicaca lake
Now we was about to see the highest situated lake, so we took a boat tour on the Titicaca lake. There we saw Uros, the floating islands and Taquile island.
