My Links Page

Here is the beginning of my sites page. I've included links to the sites that I like going to, or to some incredible performers or to friends of mine. I hope you enjoy. (PS... did you sign my guestbook??)

John Berry first caught my attention with the hit single, "Your Love Amazes Me." I saw him in concert at Grande Prairie, Alberta and he puts on quite a show. He has high energy and can still manage a large level of intimacy with the audience. He rocks!

Paul Brandt came onto the country music scene with the big smash hit, "My Heart Has a History," and it came out the same time I was going to school in Calgary, Paul's home town. I remember a classmate of mine telling me that he was getting married not too far from where I lived... not that I thought of crashing, but just to say good luck. I don't know why, but Paul reminds me a lot of my buddy Jason Brekkaas. Nobody seems to agree with me... including Jay, but that's okay because a guy who reminds me of Jay can't be that bad. And from what I've seen, Paul is a great guy.

Stompin' Tom Connors IS a Canadian Icon. He's not necessarily liked by all, but he's loved by many Canadians. I saw him in concert the summer of 2000 in Owen Sound, Ontario and I got into that concert for free. Pssttt... I'll let you in on a little secret. Tom's my second cousin. He's cousin to my dad... no lie.

Melanie Doane is a Nova Scotian singing sensation who caught my attention with her first single aptly entitled "Adam's Rib." I used her song as a theme song for a radio show that I had for awhile at CKHR, a volunteer radio station in Hay River. It didn't hurt that she's hot... and I heard she's pregnant now... congratulations Melanie!

Vince Gill has got such a smooth voice and is a very good guitar player. He has such a good voice for ballads. I like singing a couple of his tunes.

Oksana is the pretty woman on the left, and the guy is Chad Nobert, who has been in the movie The Jack Bull, and shows like, "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids."

Oksana Porteous (Duch) was in the same program at Mount Royal College with me. She and I have just started emailing each other again, and she has a site worth checking out here.

Lorn Wolf is a friend of mine who went to Nashville and seems to be doing quite well for himself. His mom, and then Lorn himself, sent me an email to let me know that his website was up again.
