When he needs a respire from his hazardous life as an X-Man, Wolverine goes 'back to nature!' The remote wilderness of Canada is like a second hime to Logan - a place where he can temporarily give in to the bestial side of his nature, and become one with the desolate beauty of the forest and wildlife around him!

The Fall of the Mutants - Selected by the Omniversal guardian Roma to champion the cause of life, the X-Men found themselves pitted against the karmic gamesman called the Adversary! Considering the X-Men little more than playthings, the Adversary toyed with his foes, exiling Storm and Forge to a mystic nether realm! Realizing that nothing less could defeat the Adversary, Forge used the X-Men's own life forces to banish their foe, leaving the mutant team lifeless! However, in gratitude for their sacrifice, Roma resurrected the X-Men, allowing them to continue their battle against evil!
