Wolverine "From Then 'Til Now" Set II
Cards 006 - 010

6 - S.H.I.E.L.D. - Riding his motorcycle, Wolvie breaks in on Nick Fury and convinces him to open the files, which the Feds have on him. Logan learns of the professor and returns to Windsor, Ontario. There he finds additional information on his past and Project X. Note: Nick Fury knows more about Logan's past but swore an oath not to speak about it.

7 - Logan - Years ago, possibly while under the influence of alcohol, Logan critically wounded a firing range staff member, causing him to lose his government agent job. Beaten and drugged, Logan was taken captive by a group of mysterious men. He was then placed in a life-support tank where adamantium was pumped and bonded into his skeletal system.

8 - Project X - Unwittingly, Logan had become the subject of a special project. The purpose of the Weapon X Program was to create a pool of super soldiers whose awareness of their own powers was selectively erased from their memories. The candidates, Logan among them, were warehoused in the general population until they were needed, and then reactivated and controlled.

9 - Professor - The visible head of Project X was The Professor, who answered to a higher power who was never revealed. Under the cover of the Department of Agriculture specializing in the pest control section, the Professor ran his covert Project X in Canada at a warehouse fronted as a crop disease research center.

10 - Dr. A. B. Cornelius - Dr. Abraham Cornelius was responsible for Logan's physical restructuring, retraining and mental reprogramming. Old memories were blocked, while new, false ones were implanted and supported by sound stages, making controlling the subjects easier. Note: Years later, Cornelius was killed by a gunshot delivered by another Weapon X, Maverick, during the uncovering of the Carbonadium Synthesizer.
