Sabretooth's Den

Vic's Women

Last update: 12 May 2009

Bonnie Hale

"Look... I can't -- I don't know what you think of me. At this point, I don't know what I think of myself... I just moved here from Missouri three months ago, all right? I was prom queen. I used to babysit for extra cash. I never... never... The closest I ever got to.. to danger was, was, was if I burned myself on a curling iron. This, what we did tonight -- how I was -- I didn't know it could... that I'd... Look... I know what you were going to do with me. After I told you what you wanted to know. I'm not stupid. But this was real. Wasn't it? I'm telling the truth.. you know that, don't you?" (Sabretooth: Mary Shelley Overdrive, 1 of 4)

First Appearance with Vic: Sabretooth: Mary Shelley Overdrive (1 of 4)
Last Known Appearance with Vic: Sabretooth: Mary Shelley Overdrive (4 of 4)
Current Status: Deceased

Sabretooth was minding his own business (sort of) when an odd smell reached his sensative nose. Heading up to the rooftops, he saw her for the first time. She was tending potted plants on the roof while unseen gunmen were stalking her. Vic was showing no signs of acting one way or another until one of the gunmen made the mistake of trying to take out the witness. Rule number one for would-be assassins? Don't make things personal for Vic.

What was it about Bonnie Hale? Former prom queen, so yes, she was attractive. But there was something a little wild and violent hiding inside that little blonde from Missouri. She didn't even know Vic's name or reputation when she watched in awe as he and her would-be killers collided. And she went to him without hesitation. The violence and the blood? Not only didn't it sicken her, it turned her on. And before long, she was showing a tendancy toward violent solutions to rival Vic. Among other acts, she set a man on fire, then electrocuted him.

"You seem pretty calm."
"I think I'm going into shock. Or maybe I've been in shock. I, uh.. I don't really know how to process everything that's happened tonight."
"You processed that shotgun pretty well back there. Nice, right in the face. Heh."
(Sabretooth: Mary Shelley Overdrive, 2 of 4)

"Victor... I didn't know if... if I'd see you again..."
"Hush, now. Hush. I told you, Bonnie. I'll keep you with me. I'll keep you safe.
"Promise?
"I promise."
(Sabretooth: Mary Shelley Overdrive, 4 of 4)

Bonnie Hale. Quite possibly a woman Vic loved. If she'd lived, would it have stood the test of time? Possibly, possibly not. But Vic took out his vengence on all concerned as if she was his mate and mourned her as much as he's ever been shown to mourn anyone.

For the full of Bonnie's short, but intense time with Vic, check out the Mary Shelley Overdrive set.
