This is the first edition Franklin Mint 1956 Nash Metropolitan.
As you can see, it had a few errors on it.
First, the color was not an original Met color, too blue. They forgot to put the "M" grille emblem on.
Look above the grille surround and notice the blue paint where the white stripe should be. Also the
spare tire rim was not painted. The Franklin Mint offered to replace this model with a corrected one
(see picture of a corrected one below), but we opted to keep this one. It is now highly collectable.
