Sakura's Story

Only one year after Hannya's death in Cario, Sakura's adventure's were just beginning in Reidenton. Li and Meilin had yet to even know of her existence, and she had yet to know of theirs. It all started one week after her 10th birthday, while she was in the 4th grade. It started out like any other day, for she was late for school, her brother was picking on her again, and she got to skate to school with Julian. Upon arriving to school, she talked to Madison, went to class where she thought about her strange dream, then went to cheerleading practise afterward, where she had a vision of a mysterious staff before her baton bopped her on the head.
Upon arriving home, Sakura found no one there for her father and brother were working it seemed. As she was about to eat some pudding, she heard a strange noise coming from the basement. Fearing it was a burglar, but knowing she had to protect the house, Sakura grabbed her baton and headed for her father's study. Down there, she found no burglar, but she stumbled onto a strange book called "The Clow." After opening it, she removed a card and read it's name of Windy, which caused the other 51 to be blown away. She was left with only Windy, but when she thought it was all over, a strange creature appeared from the book cover. He introduced himself as Keroberos, then freaked when he discovered all of the cards were gone.
Later that night, Sakura learned from Kero, that the cards were called Clow Cards, and that they were created by a powerful magician named Clow Reed. She was then given the Clow Staff, and was appointed the title of CardCaptor. Not too long after recieving her new weapon, the Fly Card appeared outside. The two then raced off to capture it, but Sakura nearly was defeated. In the end, she managed to get onto Fly's back, and then used Windy to ensnare it. She then sealed Fly and tried out her newest card. The Clow Card Quest had officially begun.
Madison found out about Sakura's powers after questioning her about a piece of video footage, which showed Sakura fliyng on her staff. Kero appeared, and the explanation begun. A couple of nights later, Sakura recieved her first battle costume when she went up against the Shadow Card. After a long battle, and after some aid from Madison, she was able to capture Shadow, and through the battle, Sakura gained her second ally.
Water, Wood, Rain, Jump, Illusion, and Silent joined Sakura's arsenel soon afterward, but then her quest suddenly hit it's first bump. A new exchange student arrived from Hong Kong named Li Showron. Later, she found out he was the descendant of Clow Reed, and he was only in Japan to capture the cards, plus get Sakura's cards away from her. Now she had a rival to deal with, along with the Clow Cards. That night, Thunder appeared and she went up against it. Li showed up however and took charge of the situation with his lightning attacks and telling her which cards to use. Through this, she used Shadow to capture Thunder. However, in the end Li remained as cold as she was earlier that day, which caused Sakura to begin her doubt of her abilities.
Sword, Flower, and Shield were captured next by Sakura, with help from Li during Sword. When going up against Time, Sakura wasn't able to fight as efficiently with her current arsenel. However, she used Shield to keep herself, Kero, Madison, and Li from being affectedf by Time's powers. At the end of the battle, Li used his lightning magic to defeat time, while Sakura sealed it. This created Sakura's second obstacle in the quest, for the one who recieved the card wasn't her, but Li. He was most pleased, while Sakura doubted herself once again. After this, Li's other captures involved Storm, Return, Dash, Freeze, Cloud, Dream, and Twin.
The obstacles had yet to end with Li's involvment however. Soon after the capture of Move, another student arrived from Hong Kong named Meilin Rae, who claimed to be a good friend of Li's. This made the quest extremely difficult because Meilin was now determined to help Li get the rest of the cards, despite her lack of magical powers. That night, she went upagainst Fight, but lost in the end. Li saved her and fell himself, while Sakura summoned Power and defeated Fight. After it was sealed, Meilin proclaimed she and Li would crush her in the Clow Card Quest. All Li could do, was be depressed while Sakura became scared.
The rivalry now shifted from Sakura and Li, to Sakura and Meilin it seemed. Through the captures of the remaining cards, Sakura became more and more nervous around Meilin despite the efforts to befriend the chinese martial artist. Then another new face appeared at the elementary school, only this time it was a new substitute teacher named Layla Mackenzie. Sakura thought she was a very nice person, while Li and Meilin suspected something. When going up against the Maze Card, the four children became trapped, but it was because of Miss Mackenzie and her magical bell that they escaped so Sakura could seal the card. It however, went to Miss Mackenzie, who returned it to Sakura.
Knowing two people could get the cards other than her, Sakura became more careful of what she did, and did her best to try to be the one to get the cardss. However this was the least of Sakura's worries however when attending the Winter Carnival, for her grestest challange to that point had just appeared; the Firey Card. Li used Time and Sakura used Sleep to put the carnival to rest so they could easily fight this new card. After a long time of thing, Sakura managed to successfully combine the powers of Windy and Water, which took out Firey. she sealed it, and for the first time, Li was truly impressed with her powers. Kero then proclaimed that through Firey, his powers were returning. Sakura was beginning to cheer up again, for it meant her quest would soon be over, and she would be an ordinary kid again.
Snow, Voice, Sand, Light and Dark came after that, with Sakura recieving all the cards. During the Twin battle, Meilin regained her confidence back by helping Li to fight. A few days later, she had to leave to return home. Sakura was sad, because she and Meilin were finally starting to become good friends. However, Meilin promised to return so she could be with all her friends again.
Soon after that, Sakura, Madison, and Li attended an archary competition Julian was competing in. He won after Miss Mackenzie lost her concentration, which made Li suspicious. Sakura didn't know why he was that way but she put it out of her mind. Later however, she found her and Kero having a conversation about someone named Yue. Miss Mackenzie told her not to worry, but Sakura continued to think about it, rememing Light and Dark mentioned the same name.
Just when it looked like the day would get better, the final Clow Card appeared. Kero proclaimed it was the Earth Card. The two went off to fight it, where Sakura was told she needed a Clow Card that never failed her. Looking down at the gorund, she was inspired by the trees to use Wood, for roots held the ground together. The card worked, and Earth became immobile. Sakura sealed Earth, but after recieving it, Kero went through a strange transformation to become a large lion with wings. He told her that it was his true form, and Sakura thought it was very impressive. Li and Madison thought the same thing, then Sakura went ahead and signed the final Clow Card. Upon writing the final letter, Julian suddenly becam engulfed in a strange light and a pair of white wings. After a moment, the wings pulled apart and Yue was reborn. He proclaimed he was to judge Li and Sakura to see who would become the new master. Li was chosen first, but he lost the battle. He warned Sakura to be careful, but then she was taken away to the radio tower. Now it was time for her greatest challange.
It was hard for her at first, Sakura couldn't seem to fight Yue because he was Julian at the same time. She didn't want to hurt her friend, but Yue ignored such compassion. He relfected Wood's attacked against her, causing herself to become ensnared in green vines. Yue then proclaimed her punishment for failing; her memories would be stripped away, and the cards would be unsealed against. Sakura tried to break free, and Yue commented on her strength, but then added that it would not change his decision. Hence, Sakura became engulfed in vines, and as well in total darkness . . .
Waking up, Sakura thought the entire quest was simply a long dream. However, during the entire day, she kept reconizing certain scenes and people, wondering who they were. She as well had memory gaps, wondering why she saw people who weren't really there. She was depressed, and somehow empty inside. On her way home, she found herself in a bamboo forest, where she heard strange voices calling her name. A bell suddenly rang, and Sakura finally realized she knew the voices, that they were her friends. Because of this, Sakura returned to the scene of the judgment and freed herself from the vines. Yue was shocked, but then Sakura found out it was Miss Mackenzie who saved her. The strange bell disappeared, and she was given a second chance. This time however, her staff magically changed to take on a new shape. Everyone was shocked and amazed. Using the new staff, Sakura summoned Windy, and defeated Yue without hurting him just like she wanted. He admitted defeat, and granted her the title of Clow Mistress.
Sakura was suddenly drawn into a strange dream world, where she met the creator of the Clow Cards, Clow Reed. He explained to her that the staff was a product of her Star Power, and then told her to take care of it, plus her own special power. When she returned to the shrine, she was greeted by Madison and Li, who she joined to celebrate her victory and new title. Yue and Kero returned to their false forms, and ressumed living somewhat normal lives. Sakura was now completly happy. It was all over.
A great deal of time passed, and everything was normal. Then, another student joined the class of Sakura, Li, and Madison. His name was Eriol Hiiragizawa, and Li sensed something strange about him. Eriol however, seemed very nice and showed that trait to everyone in the class. However, Eriol hid a very interesting secret. Sakura started sensing strange powers, and when she was attacked at the park that night, Sakura's key failed to transform when she commanded it to. She was very confused at this. The next day, she asked Yue about it, and he had no clue either. But when they were attacked again, Clow Reed came to her and told her that because of her new powers and weapon, she needed a new spell. Upon reciting it, she recieved the Star Wand once again. She faced off against the strange power, then tried to summon Firey, but it didn't work. She asked it to help her, and the card's form and color changed to form a new kind of card. She then summoned Firey and defeated the strange force. The Sakura Cards were born.
Ever since then, Sakura, Li, Kero, Yue, and Madison faced off against this new mysterious force, transforming each card. However, this took a tool on Sakura because it drained her energy and caused her to pass out if she used too much of her new power. Over time however, she learned to resist the urge to pass out, and she became a stronger cpator. As well during this time, she and Li started developing feelings toward each other, which Madison picked up on.
After transforming the Return Card, Sakura and the gang faced off against the one behind the mysterious attacks, who turned out to be Eriol! He as well had two guardians named Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun. The gang faced off and attacked, but Sakura found out the only way to win was to transform the two remaining cards; Light and Dark. However it needed to be done at the same time and she found out she couldn't do it alone. Li stepped forward and grabbed the wand, causing the two to pool their powers into the cards and transform them. The battle was won.
Eriol revealed he only attacked them so Sakura could completely transform the cards, for if they remained Clow Cards, then they would fade away. Sakura thanked him for the help, and Eriol left for England along with Nakuru and Suppi, Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun's false forms. Miss Mackenzie as well left for England to spend some time with her family. Sakura and the gang were relieved, thinking it was all over, and that they could all live in peace.
Two years passed, and the gang began missing the adventures of the past. Sakura began to have strange dreams of a mysterious being standing in the middle of a barrage of mysterious jewels as they bounced up off the ground after landing. Each tyime however, Sakura was suddenly attacked by mysterious vines which strangled her. She told Li and Madison about the dream, and used the cards to try and figure out the dream, but they left the three with more questions.
Li figured he would send his costume back home, seeing as nothing was going to happen. However, on their way to the post office, the three were suddenly attacked by a barrage of green vines, just like in Sakura's dream. She tried summoning the staff but she was trapped before finishing the spell. When things seemed against them, a firebird appeared and freed them, followed by the girl from Sakura's vision. After a long battle, the girl sealed the gem and left without answering anyone's questions.
