Arya Spiritual Center
Every summer, the Arya Spiritual center holds it's annual Shikshan Shivir(Youth Training), which is a day camp teaching discapline, hindu traditions, scriptures, and culture to the youth of today. During the Summer of 2001, head Coordinator, Pandit Ravi decided to recruit certain outstanding individual youths that have attended several camps to help run and plan future camps. It started out with 10 virs and viranganas. As time passed on, 5 members were recruited inot the group. This Vir Dal group immediately began to make changes for the better. That very year in October the group put together a spectacular show, which resulted as a success, and brought publicity to the group. The group by now had created a name for themselves; calling themselves TEAM C.U.R.R.Y., which stood for Courageous United Responsible Respecable Youths. This name fit the group real well. TEAM C.U.R.R.Y. now puts on annual shows raising money for the mandir, helps run and plan for camp, and presents weekly contributions to Mandir's weekly service.
