Day 1 (4 Jan 99) Departed Fox Point, Nova Scotia at 0915 hrs (AST) in my 1996 Mazda Protege. The odometer was reading 108758 kms. I stopped briefly in Tantallon, NS to top up on fuel. Topped up again after crossing the New Brunswick border (218 kms) at Aulac, NB in the Big Stop Irving Service Center. Headed west and made it as far as Fredericton, NB. Had to stop due to poor weather, blowing and drifting snow, low visibility. Stopped at Keddy's Motor Inn at exit 295 off the Trans Canada Highway #2 West. |
