Moon Phase: Dark or full ( this spell banishes illness, which is why I've chosen the dark of the moon rather than the new moon)
Cast your circle, call your quarters, and do your altar devotion. Cleanse, consecrate, and empower all the items on your altar for banishment of negitivity and illness. Carve the sick person's name into the soap with the pen ( use a pen that you can throw away ). Carve the following on the black candle:
Surround the bowl of water with the things that belong to the sick person. Anything disposable ( like hair, nail clippings, ect. ) goes into the bowl of water.Place the soap into the bowl of water and stir the water with the wooden spoon counterclockwise direction. I suggest you learn the following charm, which you can use for many medical ailments in many situations, from cancer to the flu. This charm is to be said three times daily:
Continue stirring, repeating the word "out" for as long as you can. Visualize the disease leaving the person's body and going into the ground. Put the other picture under the green candle, saying:
As both candles burn, walk to each quarter clock wise beginning at the North and ask for the banishment of illness and healing enrgey for your friend or relative. Return to the center of the circle and thank Spirit for helping you.
Pick up the African Violet and ask the plant to speed the healing of your friend or relative and to provide protection for him or her. Add the usual:
Close the quarters and release the circle. Let the soap continue to disintergrate in the water. Put out the candles. Light them agian each night for five to seven minutes until the sick person completely recovers. Leave the sympathy items around the bowl, if you can, until the person gets better. Give the plant to your relative or friends with appropriate instructions on how to care for the flower.

Put the person's picture under the black candle. Light the black candle. Ask the Spirit to drive out the illness from your friend or relative. Allow the candle to burn as you work on the next part of the spel.
