the prison bus
taken outside of a particular mall on a nice sunny saturday afternoon. once a month certain well behaved inmates get to do a little shopping. it was a cool picture to shoot but the main worry was when they were coming back. certain mean spirited people threatened to leave jon tide to the bus cause of he's bad mood. nice smile kennedy. left to right: matt, devon, jon, chris.
this shot is from a set played in late june at a lovely place called tobin's. a basement lit by tvs set to static. decorated with the fossils of old guitars, tobins was definitely an atmospheric place to play, during it's short tenure as a venue for halifax's all age scene.
the opeth shot
standing on the edge of the highway. we walked about 20 mins through a park to get to a spot where blasting for minerals has left a huge crater in the earth. we enjoyed taking pictures, climbing, and throwing large rocks. this shot was taken on the way. note devon and his rock star pose, and jon throwing rocks at the photographer. left to right: chris, jon, devon, matt
this is a shot of the prison bus from the front. after the stress of worry what was going to happen to us if we got caught taking pictures around it, we decided to relax and go for pizza mmmmm
