Ginga is training the other Angels in budo with wooden swords (Ikazuchi is fighting Hayate while Hishou fights Ace). Hayate manages to outmaneuver Ikazuchi, who gets bonked on the head. Hishou and Ace talk about the incident with the giant worm demon (when it took the jewel) as they battle. They also mention God Reideen. Ginga tells them to pay attention and leaps in to fight Hishou himself (the latter winds up on his butt).
Meanwhile, Echidna is thinking about Ginga, who gets an uncomfortable shiver. Echidna lands in an alley and assumes human form. She pulls the jewel out of her dress and kisses it. She seems to be planning to gift Ginga with it. Ginga gets another shiver and is momentarily distracted. Hishou attacks and manages to bonk Ginga on the head. Tsubasa comes over with a phone and says there's a call for Ginga from a girl. It's Echidna. He doesn't recognize her at first. The Angels and Tsubasa are listening intently (the expressions on their faces are priceless). Ginga finally gets off and goes to change clothes. As he walks away from the building, the others are leaning out a window waving and calling to him. He ignores them. Reiko comes by and startles them. Tsubasa mentions that Ginga went on a date, and Reiko freaks out.
In the park, there are many couples around, Ginga is the only one alone. He waits by the fountain. Echidna comes by and parades around him, but he doesn't even notice her. Finally, she yells at him. He still doesn't know who she is right away, but finally remembers her previous incarnations. She latches onto his arm and they leave together.
Hishou, Ikazuchi, and Hayate pop up from behind some bushes (Ikazuchi is holding binoculars). They're spying on Ginga, who looks a little stunned as he listens to Echidna.
Lúci recognizes Echidna on a big screen he's using to monitor what's going on. He sends an enormous, ugly duck-like demon after her.
Ginga and the girl are in a fast food joint, eating. She mentions the Reideens; his only reaction is to glance at her. A little boy runs by and falls down she picks him up and comforts him. He goes off smiling, and Ginga looks surprised by her gentleness. Later, Echidna pulls Ginga along through a crowd of people. Hishou and the other two are still following.
Meanwhile, Reiko is staring down at the phone. Ace brings her some tea. She seems to be waiting for a report from Ikazuchi. She drinks the tea but seems preoccupied.
A concert is going on with the Hearts and Kirari. Ginga and Echidna are backstage watching. Echidna gets a nasty look on her face when she sees Kirari, who begins singing "Love Is" backed up by the Hearts. Echidna feels pain from the song.
Hishou, Ikazuchi, and Hayate are watching the show from the audience.
Echidna can't stand it anymore and runs off. Her tail appears as she goes into another room, then she transforms into her full demon form.
Kirari sees Hishou in the audience and waves to him Kazuya follows her gaze. Ikazuchi thinks Kirari waved at him Hayate disputes it. The song ends, and Kirari thanks the audience.
Meanwhile, Echidna is feeling better, and transforms back into human form as the Hearts enter the room. She runs off, and Kazuya sees an image of her with a tail. She goes around a corner and meets Ginga with Kirari. Echidna grabs Ginga's arm possessively and sticks her tongue out at Kirari. She heads off, pulling on Ginga's arm. Kazuya peers around the corner and thinks to himself that the girl is a demon.
Ginga and the girl are next seen in a church. She has put a veil on. Ginga gets more agitated. The spying Angels are hidden behind a pew Hayate dials a cellular phone. Echidna begins to pull out the jewel from her dress when the doors open and Reideen Crow appears. He tells Ginga that Echidna is a demon. He hits her with Crow Twister, and when the smoke clears, she's back in demon form. She fires a blast back at him and misses. The other Heart-Reideens appear. Reideen Bat launches Bat Sonic at her and she's slammed back into the wall. Ginga positions himself between she and the Reideens before they can attack again. Reiko and Ace arrive. Ginga tells the others that Echidna isn't really a demon as memories of their day together pass through his mind. No one seems impressed. Reideen Bat assumes Bat-Plane form while Ginga transforms to Reideen Owl. The plane assumes a big purple bat image and connects with Reideen Owl, shoving him back until he hits the wall beside Echidna. She's crying because he's protecting her. Crow lands, brandishing his sword.
Hishou transforms. He lands between Owl and Crow. Crow attacks with his sword and Eagle defends. Echidna holds out the jewel to Reideen Owl, but the ground starts to shake. Outside, the gigantic duck-demon is sending sheets of orange lightning down over the church, pulling it out of its foundation into the air. The Heart-Reideens quickly leave. Everyone inside is caught in some brown goo that comes up from the floor and anchors them there. The Heart-Reideens are outside, looking up at the church as the show ends.
