C3 : My thoughts and a few hints
*The Norns - The norns of C3 are very smart :). Well as smart as simulated life can get anyway, they work and live mainly on they're instincts which most of the time tell them to look for food and sleep. Only problem is..they instinct for running away from a Grendel hasn't kicked in yet, and they seem to be lured to them...*boggle*
*The Grendel - On the mean-o-meter, I would rate these things Evil..why? they kill norns seriously. Cyberlife wasn't kidding then they said the Grendel was really mean this time..my poor norn population of 6 got decreased in 15 minutes to 1. *sniff*
*The Ettins - The Ettins now do more then walk around with they're tongues hanging out one end of they're mouth...The Ettins now steal from you! well actually they take tools (devices) they find around the ship and take them to they're home the Desert Terranium if you find one of your machines missing it's probably an Ettin.
*The Wildlife - There are tons and tons of animals in C3! birds, bugs, fuzzies, fishes, and lots of others. The Food cycle in the game works too the snails eat the plants (or something) and the birds eat the snails. Definately one of the funner parts of the game :)
*The Ship - Let's just say it's big..I still haven't found the Cemetary yet and I've been playing for about a month! it's stressing me out, considering that 5 of my norns died...you'll definately find yourself more interested exploring the ships terrainiums and places it's huge and it will keep you busy for a while.
*The Machines - These I haven't quite gotten used to yet..but hey I did manage to build a door that continiously opens and shuts when ettins are around (who knows when you might want to annoy an ettin?) anyway there are basically two parts you can use to connect machines together the input and output just put them together and see what they do, like my constantly moving elevator :)
*The Overall Review - C3 is a definate game you should try if you enjoyed C1 and C2...it may be a little complicated at first but with a few facts it's bound to be a hit! I'm working on a C3 tutorial on how to get started while I'm still getting stared :) look for a that sometime kays.
