One of our very favorite bands. Blind Guardian mixes metal with a very Bard-like sound. Not surprisingly, Blind Guardian's popularity is growing tremendously in the states as well. Their latest album, "Nightfall in Middle Earth" definately shows off this bands talent for musical compositition. The album is based on the book, The Silmirilion by JRR Tolkien. So If your a Tolkien fan, this is your band. As for metalheads, many of you will instantly fall in love with the sound. If Braveheart had a metal soundtrack this would be it!
