The exact time that Logan and Tony met is never really spelled out, but it's somewhere in that foggy area before his Weapon X days. When the two first got together, Tony owned a shady bar in Rio de Janeiro called Devil's Grill and employed Logan as his number one bouncer - a job he apparently worked for around a year. When the two reunited decades later, Tony had become a police officer - more specifically, a detective investigating a series of murders called 'Vampire Killings'.

It was while taking a break from the murder investigations to (in a nutshell) get stinking drunk with Logan that Tony was murdered and Logan took over where Tony left off. For details - read Black Rio (Cover detail).
