Definately more in line of an associate. They definately aren't friends, but they generally tolerate each other.

Daredevil: "That the man you hit? You really did a number on him." Logan: "Every boy needs a hobby." Daredevil: "If you'd taken it a little easier, we might be able to question him." Logan: "Try not to be too harsh on me, bub. I got a delicate sensibility. Listen. I know the Japanese an' you know the New York crime scene an' we both wanna find Bullseye. What say we join forces for a day or two?" Daredevil: "Mister, to recapture Bullseye, I'd join forces with the devil himself." Logan: "You sure can make a man feel wanted!" Logan: "Is he still alive?! He is, blast him!" Daredevil: "No! Wolverine! We're not judges! Yes we use our fists! Yes we break the law! But we're not God, we're not judges, we're not killers! He's almost dead, he'll probably die! His own fighting will have killed him, not you! Don't make it you! Don't do it, Wolverine!" Logan: "He wants my brand o' justice -- not yours! Blast! I want to kill him!" Daredevil: "I know." (Daredevil V. 1, No. 249 - December, 1987)
