KENNELTOWN - Official Home to the KENNEL CLiCK
Back to Kenneltown

This crew is busy causin' a K-9 Revolution - Straight outta Halifax, NS. Always putting it down for the YHZ - Know this!

This crew's been steady grindin thick like old school glasses, for over a decade. The eventual naming of the group and what it now represents, "KENNEL CLiCK" was first became established in 1997.

The original KENNEL crew included, 'The Big Dog', 'C-Bizz', 'Pimp Dog' & 'Stix Dog'. These O-Dogs held it down for the foundation of what quickly became and remains today (amongst anyone who's relevant) the most notorious & respected crew ridin' for the HFX;

November 1997 - The CLiCK grew to eight, adding to the fam': 'BADGER', 'Black' Rob Brewer, 'DJ Pillz' and 'Image'. It was at that time that the Dogs began 'working' on what would become The CLiCK's first single - "Debut". It was the dawn of a new chapter in KENNEL CLiCK history - The music!

July 1998 - At this time the KCG had assembled a lineup that nearly resembles its current roster. The familia introduced: 'Atomic Dog', 'Green 3:16', 'Max Deuce', 'Real Deal' McNeill and the mysterious producer, 'Dr. Beats-a-lot' - 'SeanJuan'. Work began on the first production out of the Beats-a-lot Studios, Wipe Yo' Chin. This raw debut album included such tracks as, "Debut", Wipe Yo' Chin" and "Roll With Me (#2)". W.Y.C. was completed and released by October of that same year.  This album proved the KCG ability to simply not give a fuck. K4L.

November 1998 - Work on a second album quickly commenced. The Dogs were eager to return with new methods and goals. Production continued through January '99. Lay 'Em to Rest was completed and released in later that month. The double CD was an instant success, but The CLiCK knew there was more to be done.

September 2000 - The KENNEL relocated the Beats-a-lot studios and the Basement Sessions were underway. The new energy was key in the making of the third LP. Strictly for the Pretty Girls was completed and released in November 2000. This album quickly became the most successful project in KENNEL CLiCK music history to date...

August 2001 - Work out of the Beats-a-lot Studios has been fierce and there is an ample supply of new joints be rolled out from the 'Operating Room'; The Avengaz (SeanJuan and Max Deuce) completed their first full length LP, The Complexity Chronicles.

Work is also well underway for the KCG's 4th installment. There is no set date for the completion of this album. This will be on some next level shit and those people with somethin' to say are gonna shut their face quick.

August 2002 - Beats-a-lot studios rolled out its first non-full crew KCG joint and the result was the Complexity Chronicles from The Avengaz - SeanJuan & Max Deuce. The Avengaz first full-length product made heads roll, along with a tha smokin' hot release party, Beats-a-lot and Max Deuce raised tha bar for the entire crew.

June 2003 - Halifax's illest crew didn't holdin' it down... Work carefully began on a new LP (still in the works - JL'05). It's been a hot minute since the KENNEL has shown up on the charts, but don't sweat.

Beats-a-lot studios has been crankin' out tha heat with a slew of new productions that have kept Kenneltown busy... Work from The Avenjaz crew, The Bakery & CVG (ROCKINGHAM ENTERTAINMENT CREWS) and of course the Beats-a-lot Complilation project all dropped the hammer on unexpectin' fools. Tha KENNEL CLiCK's new project ("Better Than Crack") is still in production. Hold tight.

March 2005 - KENNEL CLiCK is still rollin thick - Completion is nearing on several projects, including Avenjaz latest disc, The CVG Retirement Album and DJ Pillz' debut mix-tape "Receipe for Disaster" - this crew won't stop. K4L!

Times change, but one thing remains the same... Tha K-CLiCK is always coolin' on top! Tha dopest group to put it down from out of tha HFX!

The KCG wants to thanks all those who have held it down for them over the past 9 years. Your continued love and respect is definately noted. K4L.

Nothin's gonna stop these Dogs. Keep it locked to Kenneltown and keep spreadin' the word like jam on toast --- KENNEL CLiCK - ALL MOTHAFUCKIN' DAY!

"Cause when it's KENNEL, it's KENNEL 4 LiFE!"
