This
is the USS Equinox, a Nova Class science vessel commanded by
Captain Rudolph Ransom. It was swept into the Delta Quadrant by
the same means that the USS Voyager was lost.
This is a Starcrafts
kit; a one-piece
model kit.
Very
little clean up was needed, and was completed quickly.
I
used Testors
Light
Ghost
Gray
as the main color and Dark
Ghost
Gray,
along with Neutral Gray for phaser
arrays and other panels.
The used
the decals supplied with the kit. One thing that was nice is the kit came with battle-damage decals to show
some of the ship's interior.
Once all this was done I weathered it with Flat Black paint and
pastel chalks. Then I mounted the model on a base.
