Now that I've gone over some of the bases in my life I think it's time I get the story back on track. I left off when I told you that my parents agreed to let me move out with Marie, Erin, and Brooke, so I'll continue from there...
It's Sunday morning now, and I just got up. It's 8:30, and mom's cooking breakfast downstairs, and I can hear dad getting the triplets ready for church. Well, trying to get them ready, but first he's got to catch them. Lily and Jess are in the bathroom doing their hair and make-up, and the boys are trying to sneak pieces of bacon when mom's not looking, because I just heard her yell at them. I'll stop being narrator and let you live my life for a bit now.
"Jess, please let me do your make-up, it would really bring out your eyes and cheekbones. I know you don't like make-up, but please just this once!" Lily said.
"Lil please, I'm trying to get ready." complained Jess.
"I swear I'll never bug you about it again, except for the prom. By the way do you have a date yet?"
"You said that last time, fine, if you insist, but just foundation and eyeshadow. If you must know, yes I have a date."
"Well who is it?"
"Konor"
"Are you serious, I thought he was going with Lindsay Vaughn! She's gonna be some pissed!"
At this point I decided I needed to start getting ready myself, so I walked into the bathroom. "Lily, stop bugging Jess. Don't look at me like that. Yeah, I know Konor's hot, but that doesn't give you a right to jump around screaming, so shut and either do Jess' make-up or go get dressed."
"Who made you boss?" Lily asked sarcastically, but she continued with the mini makeover.
I quickly brushed my teeth and ran from the room before Lily decided to do my make-up as well. She's really good at it, but I do not feel like getting all done up for nothing. For the prom sure, but not now.
"Jess, Dawna, Lily, get downstairs! It's time for breakfast." Mom called up the stairs. "We have to leave in half an hour."
"Just gotta get dressed mom." I yelled back.
I grab a light blue baby doll dress and throw it over my head, pin my hair up, and begin the search for a pair of shoes. "Lily come in here please." I asked my fashion literate little sis.
"What? I'm gonna be late." Lily replied as she dashed into the room.
"Will these sandals go with this dress?" I asked holding up a pair of beach sandals.
"Maybe, if you were going to church as a clown. Try these, and put on some light lip gloss, and light rose blush."
She passed me a pair of flat sandals that were white with tiny blue roses attached across the toe band.
"I asked one question, not for a makeover, but thanks for the advice, anyway. You heard mom, lets go."
I pulled Lily down the stairs with me, and ran into the dining room, plopping into one of the chairs. Troy and Rory had already finished and were going out to the car, while mom was wiping the triplets faces with dad's help. Jess was just finishing, so Lily and I grabbed toast and a mint and walked out to the car.
When we got to the church, we all scrambled out and the kids all ran to look for their buds, while I walked over to a bunch of kids from school to talk about the exams.
We just finished lunch, and I'm gonna study for the exam tomorrow. It's Bio so it shouldn't take to long, but some of the names are hard to remember. Why does it all have to be in Latin anyway? Oh well, gotta get to the books.
The twins are studying too, although I never personally found grade 9 exams hard. Troy and Rory are out somewhere and the triplets are taking a nap. For that matter I think my parents are too, at least if they aren't I don't wanna know what they're doing. Well might as well study when it's quiet.
This is my exam schedule. Monday is Bio, Tuesday is Math, Wednesday is Geography, Thursday is History, and lastly Friday is Home EC. Not such a bad order either. Plus on Friday is the prom so everyone can just relax.
Well now I'm going to bed so later.
