"What proof do you have to support this? I mean we all know that he's sensitive about his weight and only wears baggy clothes, but you've never seen him like throwing it up." Howie whispered, wishing that it wasn't true, although he knew it was.
"I heard him the night of the banquet." Brian replied.
"But he can't! I mean, guys don't have that stuff. Only girls make themselves sick to lose weight." AJ said.
"No, anyone can get an eating disorder. Just it's more prominent among teen girls." Kevin clarified.
"Yeah. And we can't force him into rehab. He has to be willing to go in." Howie added.
"True. So what do we want to do about this?" AJ questioned.
"Well, first off, I think we should find out how long he has been battling this." Brian decided.
"What if we called Cari? Maybe she knows about this." Kevin replied.
"Good idea. And we can go visit her. Doesn't she live here?" Brian added.
"Yes. Brian, you and Leighanne spent more time together with the two of them then any of us."AJ suggested. "You should talk to her."
"Okay. I'll go tonight." Brian nodded.

"Thank you for talking to me Cari. I know this is probably weird for you." Brian said as he sipped the coffee she had offered him.
"Not really. I was wondering when you guys would pay me a visit." replied Cari.
"So you knew Nick had an eating disorder?" Brian asked, surprised she knew.
"Yeah. I guess he's had it for nearly a year now. At first he would say he wasn't feeling well, then it was other things like all the fast food made him sick. Then one night we were getting intimate when I noticed he was loosing a lot of weight. I said so and then he blew up at me saying he got enough about his weight from you guys and he didn't need it from me, and that we were through." she explained.
"Is there anyway that we could talk to him about it with out him quitting the group? I mean we all know how much he loves performing, but he doesn't know how harmful this is to his body." Brian said.
"I don't know. Maybe let him come to you about it. I don't know any other way." Cari shook her head.
