Two Beds And A Coffee Machine

"Get me another beer!" Angel's husband yelled angrily
while she was cleaning up the kitchen in their 3-bedroom house. She obediently does as she
was told. She grabbed a bottle of peppermint snopps and brought it to him. As soon as he
took a drink he spit it out. "Can you not do anything right? I said a beer not
peppermint snopps!" He said and threw the almost full bottle and it shattered on the
wall.
"I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking!" She apologized as he got up and came closer to
her; he grabbed her by the hair and pushed her into the wall. He began repeatedly beating
her and left after he had done his dirty work. 'How could this have happened? This has
been going on for 3 years. I have to get out of here' she thought to herself. As she got
up off the floor she turned toward a noise she heard and saw her 5-year-old son Brendan.
"Brendan, go back to bed sweetie" she said and Brendan left his mother to do as she asked. She went to finish cleaning the kitchen. After she finished her chore she checked on the twins who were fast asleep and then she began packing their clothes and hers too. She gave Brendan and Brandon a goodnight kiss and she went to bed.
*Next morning*
"Get up you bitch! Time to fix me some damn breakfast!" Her husband harshly woke her up at 6 am. She got up and fixed breakfast. As he ate he stared at her cleaning dishes.
"Turn around! I want to see what I did to you." He said evilly and she turned around with a black eye and a bruise on her left jawbone. He just laughed, "I did really good." He said to himself. He finished his breakfast and got ready for work while Brendan and Brandon ate their breakfast. He left for work and would not be back until 8 that night.
*The next day ~June 8th~*
As Brendan and Brandon slept in the backseat she thought 'I know of someone close to here that may let us stay with him. I hope Nick will remember me.' She drove to the address she had gotten a long time ago from Jane, Nick's mother. As she drove a song that explained her situation almost perfectly came on by Savage Garden:
And she takes another step

She pulled into the driveway and rang the doorbell and a medium sized man stood before
him.
"I'm not sure I have the right address. Does Nick Carter live here?" She asked the man.
"What’s your name? I have to clear it with Mr. Carter." He asked
"Just tell him its Snow. He will know who I am" she told him and he left. A minute later Nick came and picked her up and swung her around.
"It’s been to long Angel! What happened to your eye?" He asked seeing her face.
"Nothing I accidentally ran into a door. Listen Nicky do you mind if we come in so I can talk to you about something." She asked him.
"Who is we?" He asked and followed her to her car as she opened the back door and twin boys about 5 years in age got out.
"These are my children, Brendan Gene Carter is the one with brown hair and Brandon Nickolas Carter is the one with blond hair."
"Their last name is Carter?" He asked confusedly.
"Umm.... Yeah their dad's last name is Carter and their middle names are from their father." She told him.
"Me? These are my children? Why didn't you tell me Snow? Is that why you left? We were only 15! How did you support them all by yourself?" He asked as they walked into the 2-story house.
"Well yes that's why I left the tour and my mom and dad disowned me and my grandmother helped me and my parents gave her legal custody of me and then she signed the papers when I was 17 so I could get married. That was 3 years ago and when I married Stan he began beating me and started to beat my boys," she said as tears began falling down her cheeks. The boys were in the kitchen with AJ eating something, "I begged him not to hurt them and he didn't touch them again instead I was his punching bag. They have never seen him hit me and they were only 2 when he hit them so they don't remember it. Yesterday I left Georgia and drove down here to see you and tell you that you had two sons before I never see you again because I don't know what's going to happen to us." She told Nick
"Angel-baby I will never let that guy touch you again. I want you to stay here with me so I can help you take care of Brendan and Brandon. I want to do this. While I'm on tour you can stay here or go stay with my family. They missed you just as much as I have. Please report Stan to the authorities for abuse and put a restraining order on him. Please do this if not for you for the twins?" He asked
"Yeah Nick I will but are you sure this is ok?" She asked
"Yeah I want you back in my life Angel-baby" he said and she smiled as he said one of her Nicknames that she hadn't heard in awhile.
"Man, Nick, this little man right here, Brandon, looks just like you!" AJ said as he came in with the boys.
"Brendan, Brandon, come here and say hi to daddy" Angel said to the boys and AJ's mouth dropped open
*6 months later*
"Snow! It is so nice to see you hun! We missed you so much over the years!" Jane said as Angel and Nick came in with the boys in their arms, "who are these handsome boys you have?"
"You remember that surprise I told you about? Well tell everyone to come into the living room and I'll tell you all about it" Nick said and sat Brendan on one knee and Brandon on the other as he sat down with their mother beside him. Everyone came in and sat down in the chairs and on the floor.
"Ok we are all here what's the surprise Nick?" Bob asked.
"Well about 6 months ago Angel here came to tell me that we had twins together and we had a paternity test done and they are mine. You guys these are my sons Brendan gene Carter and Brandon Nickolas Carter."
"I'm a grandma? Five years and I didn't know it! This is great! I wish I would have known sooner but hey you can't help what's happened." Jane said and smiled.
"Angel, come here I want to tell you something" Angel said to the younger one. (In the Carter household the older Angel is called Snow) Angel went over to her and sat with Snow. Snow took off a necklace and put it on Angel.
"What’s this for?" Angel asked
"This was given to me by my mother when I was your age and I wanted you to have it." Snow said and Angel hugged her and went up to her room, "Leslie, BJ, come show me the pool so I can talk to you please" she asked and they went outside with Snow. Snow put her hand into her pocket and pulled out two rings, "BJ, this is your ring and Leslie, and this is yours. They each have your birthstone and say either Aunt BJ or Aunt Leslie around the stone. I told Nick I wanted to get you something special and I told him about this idea and he jumped at the idea and had them made. I hope you like them" Snow said
"I love it, really. Thank you Snow!" Leslie said and hugged her.
"I love it too! Are you and Nick going to get married?" BJ asked and hugged her
"What? Where did you get that idea? No we aren't but if we do your mom and you two will be the first I call. Hey your mom said that I could stay here while Nick is on tour and that will give us time to catch up and for you to get to know your nephews."
* 1 year and 5 months later*
"Angel-baby, everyone will be here soon, the catering is finished and we need to get ready." Nick said as he went into his room with a towel around his bottom half. 'Nice body' she thought as she walked into the bathroom and took a shower. When she was finished she wrapped a towel around her hair and one around her body and left to get dressed. When she walked out of the bathroom her and Nick collided and she almost lost her towel there
"Sorry Snow didn't know you were coming out of there. I was about to get Brandon ready and then let you get Brendan ready in their suits." He said as he walked away 'wow! She has really grown into her body. She used to have a small figure but she has really grown up.' he thought as he got Brandon's suit from the closet and went to get Brandon dressed and fix his hair. Angel got dressed and applied make-up then fixed her hair. She got Brendan's suit out of the closet and walked into the twins' room and found Brendan sitting on his bed watching Nick fix Brandon's hair. She walked up to Nick and he didn't know she was in the room and grabbed his hand and he put the comb down and turned to her and kissed her. They broke the kiss and Nick helped Brendan get dressed and tied both of their ties as Angel watched. The doorbell rang and Angel went to answer it.
"Snow-Angel! How are you?" Brian said as he, Leigh Ann, Kevin, and Kristen came in.
"Good! How are you guys?" She said
"Well, we're good, pregnant, but good" Leigh Ann said
"What? You’re pregnant? That’s great you guy!" She said and the doorbell rang. It was AJ and his girlfriend, Howie and his fiance, and the Carters.
*Later that day*
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Brendan and Brandon, happy birthday to you!" Everyone sang
"Blow out your candles!" Was heard from some people. They blew out the candles and everyone ate some of the birthday cakes. Later they opened presents
"There is just one more present but it is for Angel" AJ said as he gave her the little wrapped present. She looked confused
"Who is this from?" She asked as she looked for a tag and didn't find one.
"Just open it mommy!" Brendan said coming to stand by his mother's side as did Brandon and Nick. She opened it and found a small teddy bear holding a card. She read it. It said: Look at Nick. She looked at Nick and he was holding another bear with a small box and gave it to her. She opened the box to find a beautiful diamond engagement ring.
"Angel-baby, will you marry me?" Nick asked as tears poured down from her eyes. She didn't say anything she just looked from Nick to Brendan, then to Brandon and then back at Nick
"Say yes mommy!" Brandon said. She looked at Nick and stood up
"Yes, I'll marry you!" She said and hugged him.
"You don't know how long I have wanted to ask you that! I've wanted to ask you that ever since you walked back into my life. I'm never letting you get away from me again. I love you with all my heart." Nick said sincerely
"I have always and WILL always love you Nicky"
"Well it is about time Nick!"BJ said
They were married on June 8 two years after Angel walked back into Nick's life forever. 10 months after they were married they had a baby girl and Nick decided on the name: Snow Nicole Carter. They have a happy life and everyone is happy except Stan, Angel's ex-husband. He was put in jail and is now still in prison.
