  • Nsync's summer tour was schedualed to feature Sisqo and Pink as its opening acts. Apparently not anymore because Sisqo is now quiting the tour. He will finish out this week's shows before departing. He has the to say about his departure: I am just too big to be opening for someone. As much as I think his ego is getting too big I have to agree (he has had a sucessful solo career as well as sucess w/ Dru Hill.) Not to mention I don't think his music is Nsync tour appropriate. That's just me though. I'm not sure if they will replace him with another opening act or not.

    Nsync, promoter settle

  • Note: I did not write the following. It was taken directly out of the newspaper.

ORLANDO, Fla.- Nsync and its former promoter have settled a lawsuit that allows the multiplatinum singing group to keep its name while changing record companies. Most details of Wednesday's (12/29/99) out-of-court settlement between Nsync and Lou Pearlman were not disclosed. But Nsync will be able to leave a record deal Pearlman negotiated for them with BMG Entertainment and go to another record company, Zomba Group's Jive Records, home to fellow teen pop acts The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears. Pearlman's company, Trans Continental Group, will recieve future compensation from Nsync, Zomba also will continue a distribution agreement with BMG, the No. 2-ranked music company in the U.S. market. "All the parties involved are extreamly pleased," Nsync said in a joint statement with Trans Continental.
