The Pentagram
In ancient times , the pentacle was revered as a symbol of life- the four
classic elements of earth, air, fire and water, join with spirit to create life.
Wearing a pentagram was and is viewed as protection and as a talisman
of the divine life and good health.
Double Pentagram
This has often represented the Goddess in her five stages of a woman's life;
birth, menarche, maternity, menopause and death, her interlaced, interwoven
"arms" representing heaven and earth together.
Ringed Pentagram
The interlacing of points and circles, a pentagram with 5 rings was considered
very mystical and harmonious, male and female weaving endlessly and
blending together in perfect balance.
The Eightfold Star
Ruled by Mercury on The Tree Of Life, 8 represents the intellect- the quick
rational mind and wit. Has been used to correspond to; the 8 seasonal rituals,
stability, change, money drawing and abundance.
The Ninefold Star
This represents the Moon in The Tree Of Life, the balanced astral plane where
comes inspiration and guidance. The 9 is a final digit, therefore symbolizes
completion and eternity.
Twelve-Point Interlace
The signifigance of the number 12 is found in many magical associations,
including the 12 signs of the Zodiac and the 12 Knights of the Round Table.
