Hi - Here are some Mouse Cursors and can have them and send them to others if you wish. Just let me advertize my web page though - hee hee. http://www.angelfire.com/nm2/joycedaisy/index.html The one that points to the left, has the 'hot spot' at the end of her arm. A 'hot spot' is the point which has to be on whatever you are 'clicking on' to activate it. The one that 'twirls', has the hot spot on whatever arm is pointing to the left. That was the fix - those arms are stable now. For the jumping rope one, the hot spot is at the top of her head towards the front. Although any of these can be used in place of any of the mouse pointers, here is what I am using each one for. The Alt-Normal-Select is being used for the "Normal-Select" which is usually a fixed Arrow. The Alt-Working-in-bkgnd is being used for the "Working in background" and is the girl jumping rope. The Alt-Busy is being used for the "Busy" and is the 'twirling' girl. If you don't know how to change your mouse pointer, read on. First, when you unzip this file, unzip into a temp directory and then copy the cursors to your Windows\Cursors file. With the file in a temp directory, that keeps this readme file out of the cursors file. (dont think it would hurt anything but...). Then you can copy the zip file off onto a floppy (if you wish), or delete those files from your temp directory. Then go into your "Settings" screen and click on "Mouse", and then on the tab marked "pointers". You will then see a screen with different arrows on it. The highlight should be on the top line. If it isn't, click on it to highlight it, and then click on the "browse" button. Go and find the icon you want for your main pointer, click on it to highlight it, and then click on "open". Then back on the screen you began on, click on the "apply" and you will see your pointer change into that new one. Then either click on the "ok" to leave the pointer as that, or go back to "browse" and choose another one. When you are done - click on "ok" and you will have a new mouse pointer! What I have found out is that an animated cursor will work in place of ANY of the cursor selections. Then, depending on what type of program I have called up, I can either see my girl spin, or jump rope. When I double click on Netscape for instance, my girl jumps rope, but when I call up mail in Hotmail and things like that, usually my girl twirls. You can reverse them so your girl will jump rope most of the time, and only twirl sometimes, but that's just the way I did it. I have since bought the licence to that program, (that I use all the time), so I can continue to make cursors and custom icons. Joy
