Siren’s Call

The sweet siren lets loose a lonely scream,
That none shall ever hear,
She appears to you as a dream,
But only to lure you near,
She only wishes to lacerate,
To procreate,
To desecrate,
She only wishes to alleviate,

The pain that is only hers,

Alone in the mist she lets loose a wail,
That none shall ever fear,
She is not one to fail,
She wishes you to feel her pain that sears,
She never wished to be a maid,
Her features fade,
Her thoughts invade,
She never wished to be alone in the ocean jade,
With the loneliness that is hers,

She grasps at the fog for something that’s not there,
A tear drips form her lovely face,
The seawater trickles from her hair,
Those hands as gentle as lace,
She waits patiently for a living thing,
A golden ring,
A mighty king,
She leaps in the water and begins to swim,
Towards the death that is rightfully hers.
