First experiment
Materials:
A copper penny.
A piece of nickel.
A piece of iron.
A piece of cobalt.
A piece of plastic.
A piece of wood.
A class.
Two circle donut magnets.
| 1. Place the items on your desk. |
| 2. Hold magnets closely over the items. |
| 3. Do any of the items seem attracted to your magnets?. |
| 4. Write down which items the magnets attract. |

What did we learn from this?
1. That Magnets can attract only some matrials.
2. Magnets can not attract others.
