| Satomi was born on Kyushu, which is the southern most island of Japan, to Toyomi (Nagamatsu) Miyahara and Yoshitsugu Miyahara. There she grew up on her parents' rice and vegetable farm. She attended college in Japan, majoring in Japanese Literature, she graduated with an AA degree. She traveled to America in 1990, where she attended a Christian college, then married Daniel. Satomi & Daniel have both gone back to Japan several times to visit her family. She now lives in Reedley, a small farming community in California. | Daniel was born in Tulare, California to Patricia Ann (Lamb) Berry and Lloyd Berry. He grew up in the farms of Dinuba, Ca. Later he traveled to Oklahoma and lived with family there. In 1990, he attended a small business college and majored in Computer Science. Later, he went back to college to seek his degree in teaching. He is currently at Fresno State University for this purpose. He hopes to have his BA by 1999. After that, he may move to Japan to teach English there with his wife. |
