Welcome to the Dreamer's house

I will write about some of my dreams for those few individuals who are interested as soon as I can get some sleep!

Okay - I found a place to sleep…
On 2/2/1999

I find myself in my family's old house, a bungalow, seated at the end of the dinning room table. Upon the
long table before me are three jade figurines of the deepest, transparent green colour. Picking up the first
one, I feel it's carved surface and hold it up to a lamp and notice that it lacks flaws or impurities. From a
side window, I hear a rapping, which draws my eyes to a lone middle-aged woman standing outside of the house. Wearing a rather unkeeped green army jacket, she motions me to let her into the place. I stand and begin to walk towards the window, but my father interrupts my progress and tells me to never let her in.
Feeling a great sensation of fear, I bark at the women to be gone. But she continues to stand there and look at me with her deep, dark starving eyes, rapping on the window glass. I gaze, and almost meditate on those eyes, which seem to hold some hidden truth. I yell again for her to leave the area, but she still only stands there, rapping, rapping at the window glass. Looking back upon the three figurines, I grab them and throw them towards the window. They fly unhindered in the air as if they where falling through a thick dark lake. Finding their mark on the glass, they sail through it, opening an oval hole in the process. I walk towards the opening --- and wake up

On 2/16/1999
I find myself once again in my family's old house, this time the woman who was outside is inside the place. I walk towards her and notice that her style of dress has changed drastically. In the dream before, she appeared as a homeless person, in this dream she had donned a new dark blue business-like dress with gold buttons along the front. She held an object in her hands, maybe one of the three jade figurines? As I walked closer to her, I noticed that her black hair had much more volume than before face was quite beautiful. Her complexion was an olive tan and very clear. Her full red lips moved as if they were communicating some message to me, yet I hear not their utterances. I then focused on her almond shaped eyes, which seemed to carry the message. Despite their welcoming appearance, I still not receive that message that seemed to elude my pursuing heart. – I then woke up…

On 2/20/1999
I stand, looking at a tall skyscraper, which half crowned by clear blue sky and, at the same time, a black stormy cloud with convulsive winds.  I enter this gray building and see Satomi there in the lobby.  We proceed to the topmost suite of the tower and find a wedding in progress of Danny and Sachie (two of our friends, who are already married to each other).  The room is completely surround by a row of large windows.  On one half of the tower, there is a fierce storm howling, on the other side, the air is still and the sun is shinning.  -- I then wake and find that Satomi had the same dream!

On 5/28/1999
I find myself walking on this small cemented path after a heavy shower at night.  The clouds above part and a multitude of stars appear, which shine with exceeding beauty.  As I marvel at the wonder above me, I trip, stumble, and fall down.  As I stand, I notice one of my professors walking briskly by.  She is carrying a very large book bag in her arms, and on her back there is an oversized tout bag, full of her student's portfolios and papers.  She walks so fast that I only ketch up with her with extreme effort.  As we race along the path, I look to her to ask her to please slow down, but she only replies that she must be getting to her next meeting and has little time for slowing down. I stumble again and she continues ahead on the path at her fast pace.  As I stand this time, I find a poster board laying on the path.  I immediately write in large bold letters,
"PLEASE ENJOY THE VIEW OF THE STARS, THEY ARE SHINNING LIKE NEVER BEFORE!"  I hurriedly rush again to her side and present the poster board to her.  She briefly reads the board and looks up at the stars for a moment, but then continues her trot to a brightly-lighted city on a hill without missing a step.  I plead with her again to enjoy the wonder above her, but again she only gives an abbreviated answer and hurries to that city with countless streetlights burning.  I stumble for the third time and land in a pool of muddy water.  Feeling out of breath from my efforts, I gaze up at the heavens and relax there in that pool.  I note that the stars shine and shimmer like diamonds on a velvet blanket. I say aloud, "Please enjoy the view of the stars." but nary a person hears me.

On 9/18/1999
I walk through hospital doors, the smell of the place tells me that I am in the ward were the very old are kept.  The hallway's lights are dimmed, giving a somber feeling to the one's who see them.  I find myself drawn to one room. As I walk through the opening of this room, I notice a very old woman sleeping on the one small bed, by the window.  Through the window do I look and see that we are on a very high floor, for I see the city lights stretching far below.  The sky's black ceiling, which seems darker than usual, is speckled with stars.  I focus my attention on the old lady reclining in the bed and notice that she is Japanese.  Seeing that she is waking, I introduce myself in Japanese. A word appears, which floats in front of me.  The word is "Ichichian" and I recognize it to be a word that she identifies with herself.

The next day, I go to a new class called "wisdom."  As I walk through the door, I notice that I am the oldest student in this class and that these other students are teenagers.  Upon finding a seat, I see the instructor walk in.  She seems just a little older than I am, but weighs twice as much.  Her garments look almost like a many layered bluish-green moo moo dress with many shreds in the top layer revealing the other layers beneath.  Standing in front of the class, she says, "So you want ti learn about wisdom, then stop seating in this classroom and be outside, because wisdom does not come from these texts, but from life experiences."  The class moves outside and she leads us to the edge of our school.  "Have you read your texts?" she inquires as she gives everyone a stern look.  I feel so embarrassed because I know that I haven't.  "Look at that light pouring out of that fixture" she says as she points to a light underneath a carport like structure.  As I watch the light, something begins bobbling around the fixture.  Then water pours out of the fixture and I my mouth falls in amazement as I realize what she meant when she said, "Look at that light pouring out of that fixture."

Walking still farther away from the school, we encounter a cliff with a forest growing at it's base.  "Take this path," she says as she points to a well traveled walkway wondering down the side of the cliff. Everyone begins the trek down and I notice that she is taking a different path.  This other path is rocky and full of steep gullies.  I decide to follow the other students down the smooth path.  We reach the bottom, where she told us to wait, but I walk towards were the path that she took meets ours.  I decide to walk a little ways up this path and then I see our teacher walking in the air!  The path that she is on has huge gaps in it, where there is nothing but a sheer cliff.  She flies between the rocks better than a bird, yet she does it without acting worried, or moving her arms, or even running.  She just walks and does not fall down the side of the cliff.  Seeing this spectacle, I run back to the other students and tell them what I just saw.  "Sure, old man,  it's the eyes that always goes first," they say while others laugh.  She then rounds the last bend in her path and joins the group.  "Now everyone, look at your hands," our teacher commands.  "Close them and bring them to the sides of your face.  Imagine that one of your fingers is red."  She walks in the group and amazes everyone as she points to the right finger every time.  Seeing this I imagine that both of the middle fingers of my hands are red.  "She will surely pick the wrong one, because I am thinking of two red finders!" I think as she finally reaches me.  "Hmm... It appears that Daniel has a problem listening to instructions, for he has two red fingers." she said as she points to both of the middle fingers of my hands.  "Wow, she really does see inside our minds," I think as I stand there seeing everyone share their astonishment with each other.  "Come, let us travel through this forest."  All of the students follow her as I try to step to the front of the pack to talk with her.  But I can't make it to the front, because there are so many on this little path.  Soon the group enters a clearing and I get closer to her.  "We will begin to learn about wisdom from the very old." I hear her say.

After a long walk we enter the city were I was the day before.  We walk to the same hospital, which I had visited.  Upon entering the lobby of the place, she instructs us to take the elevator and she will go a different way.  I decide not to take the elevator as the others are doing, but to follow her and see how she will go to the top.  I follow and she stops and says, "Daniel, you may come along with me."  We come to a blue mat and seat down upon it.  "Hold on." she says as the mat hovers and moves up with great speed to the top of the building.  Holding on to the mat with all my might, I notice that she is calmly seating at the very edge of the mat and has no fear.  "When you are wise, Daniel, you will not be visited with such fear," she says as we reach the very topmost floor.  The mat stops then rests on the floor.  "We just flew through those walls," I said in astonishment.
"Come, Daniel, you need to meet someone."
We walk down the same hallway that I walked down the night before. pointing to a door, she says, "Enter there."  I walk through the doorway and see the same old Japanese lady.  This time she is wide awake and seating on the side of her bed. "You wish to learn about wisdom?"   "Yes I do." I said as I notice her advanced age.  "You receive more wisdom as you experience more life. A 30 year old has the wisdom of a 30 year old, but a 90 year old has far more wisdom then their years, because as one ages, the memories build upon the younger memories and these act to redirect and reshape the individual in deeper ways."  I think about what this old lady just said, as I notice the teacher standing in the doorway.  "Have you learned something about wisdom today, Daniel?"  She asks as I meet her in the doorway.  "Yes," I say as she steps to me.  "Good, then WAKE!" she says as she claps in front of my face.   I instantly awaken from the dream.
