Ordering Ready-To-Wear Fashions, Fashion Completers, Patterns, Fabric & Sewing Paqs, and any other items from Mini-Fashion Boutique couldn't be easier!
Special Ready-To-Wear Fashion OrdersPlease allow 30 days for special orders on ready-to-wear fashions if they are not in stock. I fill orders as soon as possible, and depending on how busy I am it is sometimes sooner than 30 days. A 50% down payment is required when an order is placed, with the balance due before it is shipped. This assures me someone ordering is serious and it assures you that I will complete your order. I do guarantee complete satisfaction on any of my custom fashions so I feel it's a win-win situation all around. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Fashion Completers
Patterns
There are several lists of patterns on this website. I hope you will explore my two main pattern lines:
My MFB line of patterns carries the label "On the Runway…" as in "fashion show." Exclusive patterns include reproductions of many original vintage Mattel fashions, plus original retro and modern styles for Barbie and family and some of the new larger dolls. such as Gene & Tyler, and soon to be added, Marley.
Archive patterns are reprints of patterns published by MFB over thirty years when I first began sewing for Barbie & family, as well as Crissy, Velvet, Newborn Thumbelina, Dawn, GI Joe and others.
My Aileen's Petite Fashions Collection features patterns which include vintage reproductions of original Mattel fashions, celebrity reproductions, as well as miscellaneous designs, and a set of basic patterns for the 18" SuperSize Barbie. Reproductions may not include all the original detail, but reflect the similar style. MFB acquired APF in 1999 when the originator retired.
Fabric & Notions Paqs and Ready-To-Sew Paqs
I also offer two types of sewing paqs. One provides the fabrics and all notions to complete an outfit. The Ready-To-Sew Paqs provide all pieces cut out, as well as all notions. At the present time these are avialable for most "On the Runway..." patterns. Please email for details on specific patterns. I also provide fabric samples on request.
Shipping and Handling
I am an avid supporter of reasonable shipping and most everything I send out goes First Class USPS. I’m located in the middle of the US in Missouri, and find that most things arrive in 3-4 days.
On large pattern orders that are shipped Priority, I usually send Flat Rate and stuff as many items in as possible.
Fashions, completers and sewpaqs may also ship First Class when possible and depend on the packaging required. If you wish to upgrade shipping to Priority, please email me first.
International orders
Please provide destination information and we will inform you of the shipping charge. International orders are usually sent Airmail Letter Post for the most reasonable fees. If the total weight is less than 16 oz., there is no customs declaration required. If a declaration is required, the actual cost of the items purchased will be stated. I cannot declare merchandise as “gifts.” Please email for specific details on ordering and shipping. All payments must be through Paypal in US dollars, so a custom invoice will be sent.
Sales Tax
If you live in Missouri, sales tax will be added in the amount of 7.850%. Residents of other states or international do not add tax.
