BON VOYAGE TO AN HAWAIIAN HOLIDAY is an original pattern booklet from the archives of Mini-Fashion Boutique, a source of independently designed fashions published in separate fashion sheets, booklets, and bi-monthly newsletter.

The original vintage doll patterns in this booklet were designed and published over thirty years ago by Mini-Fashion Boutique and reflect some of the popular styles of that era. This is your chance to obtain some unique patterns not available anywhere else!

Barbie is excitedly preparing for a fun vacation to Hawaii! With the patterns in this booklet, she'll be ready for escapades on a cruise, as well as on the Big Island!

At cruise departure, Barbie is classy in her “Bon Voyage Suit,” the latest-style yoke dress and panel coat with “stand-up” collar”. (My, how times have changed in what we wear--I can't resist pointing out that clothes for cruise departure today are waaaay more casual! LOL):

Dancing “Under the Stars,” she looks elegant in an empire waist gown accented with scallops, petal bag and stole. (This scallop design—popular in the early ‘70s—is repeated in another outfit I call “Scalloped Enchantment” which will be listed later with my Fashion Sheet reprints, also from MFB Archives.)

She’s also ready for “Deck Sports” such as shuffleboard and tennis with her new tennis dress with panties and jacket.

A darling “Pool Party Playsuit” features a bikini and “porthole” pop-over cover-up—perfect for a pool party on shipboard, or frolicking in the ocean while on the islands!

When she arrives at the Big Island, she can’t resist riding her “Surfboard” or wearing her “Grass Skirt” learning to Hula! When she hears the music she can't stop her hips from swaying as illustrated in the cover sketch below! And a trip to Hawaii wouldn’t be complete without a “MuuMuu! I have also included a pattern for a guitar (Surfboard, MuuMuu and guitar are not pictured but patterns and instructions are included.)

This is a reprint of the original booklet which was mimeographed on 8-1/2 x 11 paper. The cover is light green. There are nine pages of patterns featuring clearly drawn sketches of the outfits, with instructions on a separate page.
