Barbie Pattern BARBIE IN JAPAN 1964 Kimono Vintage Repro from APF

This is another pattern from my Aileen's Petite Fashions collection, designed to fit Barbie and other 11-1/2" fashion dolls.

Barbie in Japan (APF-189)is a vintage reproduction pattern of the 1964 “travel costume.” The kimono has long flowing sleeves and is shown in Aileen’s photo made of red-rose embroidered real silk. The sleeves are lined with a solid color silk. The obi sash is gold and white brocade. A white silk scarf accents the neck. Hair decorations are also suggested. For a limited time, as a BONUS you will receive a perfect Barbie size Japanese parasol!

This design was originally drafted by Aileen's Petite Fashions (Mini-Fashion Boutique became sole owner of Aileen's Petite Fashions in 1999). The pattern includes a sketch and typed instructions as originally done by Aileen, with pattern pieces drawn by hand and printed on 8½" x 11" white paper. Pattern is four pages. I've added a 6" x 9" white envelope with Aileen's photo featured on the front. Please note that while this pattern reflects the original design, it is a similar but not exact reproduction. APF patterns are available exclusively from Mini-Fashion Boutique.
