Pirates are attacking and looting ships on the Mississippi, leading the government to call in Jim West and Artemus Gordon to investigate. The secret agents discover that a blind ex-riverboat captain and his gang are behind the attacks. However, the gang has hired a deadly assasin to get rid of West. Can the two stop the assasin and bring the pirates to justice?
