The Theta Phi Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia was chatered in 1960 by 12 members of the School of Music and was Active until the steady decline of enrollment at the University in 1986 causeed it to fall.
The Gamma Nu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota was chartered in 1959 and remained active untill the early 1990's. It served the School through various activities. The reasons for the failure of the chapter are unclear though rumors of mismanagement of funds by the treasurer have been circulated.
These two organizations along with Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma helped to keep the life of ENMU Musicians interesting and purposeful as well as giving them an outlet for friendship and a common bond.
