We live in a lonely
world that rotates around the sun, existing in an eternal vast space of
treasures undiscovered. All the while, the beauty of our small existence
is unnoticed by us. We are too busy worrying about green paper we call
money and whether we are better than our neighbor. We hide our dirty little
secrets and rob people of our love. We use the grain that would feed the
world for personal pleasures like beer and beef. We cry out to ourselves
that we will never have enough and that our lives we suffer and can hardly
bare. We point the finger in the other direction instead of looking in
the mirror. Our chaotic little world that we paint for ourselves each day
is blossoming into the eternal hell that we most fear. And who are we and
where do we belong? Is life about hating eachother, being afraid of eachother,
molesting the earth by stripping away its natural resources, ignoring the
little children, and crying out to God that he did this to us. We destroy
life while a few try to fight hard enough to perserve a few trees, a little
bit of soil, some animals, and our children. We are our own destroyers
and we take the precious things for granted. So shall we ask ourselves,
why oh why do our children murder children? Why do people rape other people?
Why do we kill eachother and beat eachother? Why do we aim to take away
the spirit and the heart of another being? Why do we want to break a person
down? Why are our differences a cause to hate one another?
