This is my FUN HIPPIE PAGE.  However I would like to make a statement about what it means to be a Hippie.  For starters, many people associate being a Hippie as how someone might dress and other surface qualities. Granted fashion is a part of how a person might identify him or herself with a certain group of people and also to symbolize what they stand for.  Yet it runs deeper than that.  The Hippie movement I guess attracts us to this day because of what it was all about.  It was a political movement against an unjustified war.  It was a statement saying we will not conform to society and institution.  It was a revolution of love and hope.  It was a rebellion against racism and a struggle for Peace. It was the children standing up to the authorities and saying, "This is Wrong!"  So as one can see, the Hippie movement will never die because it is about improving the world we live in.  Today it is an environmental movement.  Today it is about striving for world peace.  Although the media is still speaking of all the negative energy and activities amongst us, many of us still have hope and many of us still fight.  For me it is a way of life.  As you visit my website you will find that my fight is environmental issues and animal rights.  Being a hippie is not just the way you look or dress, but it is something that is in your heart.  Love, Peace, and Happiness from a young modern day Hippie, Chloe.
