'PUTER PLAY PLANE MATH

(1/8 math credit when all have been completed successfully)

1. Complete all nine exercises in "Applying Flying."

2. Write a three paragraph paper about the exercises. One of the paragraphs should explain which of the exercises was the easiest. One should explain which of the exercises was the hardest. The other should explain from which exercise you learned the most. Be sure to run both a spell check and a grammar check!

3. Complete the two exercises in "Pioneer Plane."

4. Write a short paper explaining the most important math concepts you learned or practiced in these exercises. It should be at least three paragraphs. Be sure to run both a spell check and a grammar check!

5.  Explore each of the 8 "Training Departments" in the "Enterprises" section. From those eight, choose one vocabulary term from each. It may NOT be the same as the title of the department! Define and explain each of those eight terms in a bulleted list. You must define and explain them in YOUR words. Do not simply copy and paste the definition. Be sure to run both a spell check and a grammar check!

6.  Now it's your turn! You have just been hired to design a plane! After completing this section, write a paper explaining how you solved each of the design questions.

TEST:

After you have turned in each of the above sections, your teacher or another student will construct a multiple choice quiz with a minimum of 10 questions. The quiz will include the vocabulary you chose as well as questions about the math you have practiced and the plane you designed.
